Polizeipräsidium Bochum

The late-expressionistically styled police HQ built in 1929 is one of a comparatively small group of preserved high-quality structures of that time.
It is impressively characterised by an effectively structured main facade at Uhlandstraße.
A very important element is the seven-storey corner tower with its perron as the main entrance.
Above on the left of the main entrance, we find a lime stone relief with an expressively stylised German Reichsadler (Imperial Eagle).
Inside, the representative public areas are as architecturally impressive as the exterior of the building.
