Schiller-Schule, from 1925, is a listed building. The objective of the new construction work was to come up with an annexe, as required, that would not dilute the overall impression this school conveys.
Two glass towers with three classrooms each were thus added to the main building. Both elements are connected in the socle storey, where we find the new Schiller-Café.
The glass towers, in relation to the main building, stand at a five and 15 degree angle respectively. This is a counterpoint to the very symmetrical school building from the 1920s. The solidity of the stone building is also contrasted with the lightness of the glass structure.
