The building for the communication agency LOOK UP was built on the revitalised site of a former pit. The three-storey building is divided into two working areas: the ground floor for the products’ finishing, the upper floors for creative and administrative work.
On the upper floors, we find open, transparent working areas, partitioned by frameless glass walls. The exposed concrete of the massive exterior walls are contrasted by the glass facades of a field size of 3.4 x 3 metres. The glass is framed in larch wood, with a post-bolt construction without any exposed connecting elements. It is thus a first in facade design.
Inside the building, the walls are also made of exposed concrete. The combination of larch wood, steel and concrete was also consistently used for the interior design.
