The design of the casino building was to create a high-quality ensemble that, gambling aside, would also provide space for social events.
Its location in the recreation and leisure area of Hohensyburg also had to be taken into account. This made for a building that makes the complex diversity of what is going on inside visible in its architecture as well. Its diverse structuring and terracing, but also the limited height of the building, is in line with its environment.
For the facades, the main materials are Oberkirchen sandstone, bronze-coloured light metal and metallised glass. The building is accessed through three underground parking levels.
The central inner area interconnects the levels of activity. On the lower level, we find the slot machines. On the central level, we have restaurants and bars, the “Marktplatzszenerie“. The upper level, also accessible from the outside, houses the Roulette, Baccarat and Black Jack tables and provides a fascinating panoramic view of the region.
